Scooter for 16 year old girl?

A friend of mine wants to buy a scooter for her 16 year old daughter. Now she asks me what do I suggest as a good scooter for commuting to school and mall and around town. It must be a reliable 125cc scoot with good after service, she being the father in the house as well (Her husband passed away 2 years ago my best friend). My first thought when she asked me last night was mmm KTM 1190 not bad :lol8: ok will not work for her but for me.
