And thanks for your tracks that we followed.

Well Done JonW and the rest

WOW... different level of harde baard this one  :thumright:

Very scenic, very, very tough routes - brilliantly done  :thumleft:

Thanks Dan :thumleft:

My 520 overheated a few times on the ride on particularly steep rocky sections, the only bike in the group that doesn't have a fan.

Solution was just to let it cool down for a few minutes then fill up the radiator from my camelbak
Haha....reading this old post about my 520 overheating due to no fan.
Recently @Len vR did some work on it including replacing the waterpump seals. While he had the waterpump open he discovered that there was no impeller in the waterpump to circulate the water.
No wonder I had the odd overheating episode.
Just shows what an absolutely indestructible motor the RFS really is.
How my bike didn't seize on yhis trip still confounds me

I read this report only now...
Well done Gents 👌

And Jon, if you ever plan do tricky stuff like this let me know in advance so I can cheat then - by bringing my 300 with the 15L tank of the 500, it is a perfect fit same like the seat/plastics/why. Consumption is little more than a 500 with this type of slow stuff but it handles easier/lighter, don't ask me why... ;)
