Hope that this is the right thread:
I have been contacted by a tourist looking to buy a bike I have for sale. He plans to drive it up to Kenya and leave it there for someone else to drive back to SA later.
We need help on the following:
What all is involved in selling a vehicle to a 'foreigner'?
What's the process, what docs will he need to have with him, etc. etc.
He has also asked me to arrange a carnet for him, as it is apparently easier for a local to organise. I know absolutely nothing about these things, and any assistance and direction would be greatly appreciated.
