A while back i was looking for a XR650R. I was told in no uncertain manner 
That once i have one i would not ride the XR400R anymore by shark-za ??? Sorry to admit :-[ He was right. I just have no inclination to ride it anymore. Sad but true. The ideal set-up would be to keep the 400, but i need the Dakar for the tour company and training i am starting. Otherwise the Dakkie would go. Hell you just can't win with this bike thing ???
