So.
I was servicing my bike yesterday and I sheared the sump bolt on the engine. Now I have a bit of bolt stuck in the casing with no way to grip it. DOH!!!. (Servicing 101. don't over torque)
The bolt is one of those magnetic aftermaket ones. Aluminum with a piece of magnetic steel inside. How to remove it now? Have thought of trying to drill it and use one of those screw extractors. But I've never done that before and I'm terrified that by drilling it with a normal drill bit the bolt will just screw into the sump, requiring the cases to be split.
Any ideas would be appreciated. I have just moved to klerksdorp, so if anyone knows anyone around here who could help me, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
