Shoei Hornet or Uvex Carbon: which crashes better?

I took a little tumble the other day. I landed on my helmet. It's not visibly cracked, but I came off at 60km/h and it was 3 years old already. It was also insured. I bought it for R5100 (back when I had money). I dont have money any more. But they are going to pay me replacement value of the same helmet (I think). It was a Shoei Hornet. i really liked it. Trac Mac just quoted me R7410 for a Shoei Hornet. WTF.

Suggestions on alternatives? Uvex? Shubbert? Stick with the Shoei?
