Thanks Pleco for arranging, it was superb riding . And thanks for the kind words Pleco but you did not see Bob help me out in the thicker sand near Cobus se gat.  I think I tired him our properly

The Doring river was a gamble. It looks like nice deep sand to ride through, but it is about 10 cm deep, with round boulders underneath. Its like riding through muddy water, without being able to see underneath. I got halfway, and got chucked voilently reducing me to a duck waddle the rest of the way. Legadema had a proper fall on the rocks  :eek7:. Deon, Paul and Rynet almost made it through.

Remy should have played the lotto after the line he picked through there. But well done. Only one who rode all the way through!

This is what the bottom looks like when its in flood. Trying to ride it on the low run off before the farmer has cleared it, would be almost impossible.

Ek sal definitief volgende jaar sin doen, As julle klomp se ek sal dit mak mak doen dan gaan ek hom gooi ja.

Yes I do seem to pack a lot of things to take with, but I like to be prepared. But yes a spare tube I did not take with and would have been good to have and it turns out 8 worms and 3 gas bombs were not enough . :biggrin:

Thanks everyone who helped with the tyre especially Legadema who put in most of the worms , and to him and Remy who rode behind me on Sunday as the worms kept popping out on the way home on Mitchells Pass etc . Was great practice to hold the bike upright when the worms shot out  :mwink: . Thanks again guys  :3some:
