We all do trips and end up fixing something on the bike. I mean is this not what an adventure is about the unexpected. Imagine everthing goes exactly to plan and you go from point A to B.......BORING :bueller:
The GS is twin plugged and everytime I went through water the old spark leads would get wet and the bike stopped. Alot of silicon sealant and the Walvis could swim again

Puncture repair....
And if you think roadside repairs is limited to being on a trip.......I have replaced gearbox, clutch and pressure plate on a pavement before as we had no garage....
Not for the faint hearted so unless you are not paraniod about losing screws and spares don't do it :deal:
