Spokie, I am in the process of having rims made for the Yamaha XT660Z, it's a 21 x 1.85 x 36.
I won't repeat what lecap has so eloquintly put, but its very unlikely you will find a match. If however there is blueprint for your rim on file, I could possibly help you get a rim and new spokes for your existing hub for one hell of a lot less than you have been quoted for the Excel, in fact half that cost for a better rim.

By the way, the rims I am having made are the SMPRO Platinuim III series rims, which will include rims for the BMW GS800, and the KTM990 Adventure.
