DirtHound
Race Dog
I was tightening my chain this evening, and this bugger decided to throw in the towel.
It was pretty tight. I used penetrating oil and also knocked it a few times with a hammer from the back to loosen it, but unfortunately for me, it has snapped off. I was turning it anti-clockwise, and not clockwise (just in case you were wondering).
Basically, I wanna know from the experts, what are my options?
1. Weld a "head" onto the tiny piece of thread still left, and try to turn it out
2. Drill it out
3. Forget it... grind it down, and make another plan to keep the axle in the right place. (Any ideas?)
