I hope you have many safe miles Papa-B3ar, and keep us updated on the progress of the bikes transformation!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately I have to let my 1150 GSA move on to greener pastures (moving to a house with no off-street parking, in CT thats a recipe for disaster).
Now for the Juicy details:
2005 model, 32 000KM - R73K
Bike was brought down from JHB recently so is completely rust-free and has slept under cover/underground at work during the day, just been serviced as well.
BMW Alu original topbox
Extended Touratech bashplate
Touratech turn-stoppers on wishbone
Touratech spotlights
HID high-beam (probably my favourite feature, you can melt traffic in front of you should you choose to do so, amazing safety)
Kaokao throttle lock (awesome for long distance cruising)
Extra Comfort seat
Usual GSA features of: ABS, Heated grips, 33lt tank,
Windscreen extender lip for the tall folk
BMW tank bag/mount
Bicycle pump mounted for emergency
Touratech sidestand foot (improves surface area)
I've ridden many K's on an 800GS, 1200GSA but still love this bike the most for its indestructible build and "fix it anywhere" simplicity.
Previous owner was African Sky on the forum who has kindly kept ALL invoices for the bike from new for all services etc.
