Not easy putting this beast up for sale, but unfortunately I need the cash and I'm not riding it enough anyway (one very busy toddler and newborn in the house..)
Bought it last year from another WD and have enjoyed it thoroughly. See details below.
2002 DR650SE 34000 km
Included:
- Original fuel tank
- Extra rear tyre and tube
- Two tool tubes with all tools necessary to do basic repairs / service in the field
- Rear Luggage bag and another small bag that attaches to the handle bar
- Several suzuki bits
Modifications:
- Pannier brackets (one has been damaged during our move to CPT, but a quick weld will fix it)
- Wind screen
- Bash plate
- IMS 20 l tank
- Pro taper bars and bar raisers
- Aftermarket exhaust. Sounds like a thumper should.
- Air box has been modified for improved airflow.
- Carb needle position adjusted to compensate for exhaust and air box modifications. Power delivery is instant and very smooth.
Issues:
- High beam not working, I have checked fuses and replaced bulb but no success. Might be the switch itself, or maybe something I'm missing
- Damaged left rear indicator from move. I have bought replacement indicators but not fitted
- Steering head bearings need replacement. Still rideable but would ride better at low speeds after it is replaced.
