Hi Guys (and girls),
I just bought a new Versys, and since I can only ride one bike at a time my old Fugly is for sale.
The details:
2005 (registered 2006) KLR650 - old shape.
61,000km on the clock.
Groenie installed a 685cc Schnitz kit and new valves, thus new top end at about 57,000km. It pulls a lot better than a stock KLR.
New gel battery.
The bike obviously has some scars as proof it's adventures, but nothing major.
Chain and sprockets are about 10,000km old, they usually last about 20,000km.
Tyres have about 40% tread left. It comes with a new 21" front knobbly not yet fitted.
New front brake pads, not yet fitted.
The extras:
Wilbers progressive fork springs.
LeCap rebuilt rear shock with stiffer spring and reinforced preload adjuster.
Braided brake hoses.
Bolt upgrade kit including upgraded sub-frame bolts.
Givi crashbars.
Steel bash plate.
SW Motech footpegs.
Tall screen.
Pro Taper handlebar.
Small Givi topbox.
My price is R25,000 not negotiable. Sorry but if I don't get my price it's better to keep it since the engine overhaul set me back almost R10k.
Bike is in Eshowe KZN, don't worry it's rust free, I only moved here a year ago ;D
