This is our esteemed lady member Renette AKA Rynet's bike - I am selling it on her behalf because she is (a) my friend and (b) a really busy attorney who works 18 hours a day and is unable to meet with and entertain prospective buyers, whereas I can.
Rynet bought the bike in March 2015 with 21 000 km on the clock and has maintained it with Heddles and Cape Bike Travel
2010 KTM 990 R ADVENTURE
67 500 km - last serviced at 65 688 km on 10 July 2019 at Cape Bike Travel in Buitengracht St ,Cape Town - the front brake discs and pads were replaced at this service ...so there is no issue with rattling discs
Sprockets and chain replaced at 61 000 km on 7 May 2018
The bike was too high for Rynet when she got it so she got Heddles to swap the suspension with a standard Adventure model - so this bike does not have the super high suspenders that the 2010 990 R's are known for. It also has a nice soft comfort seat.
The last photo is of this bike parked next to my stock std 2004 950 Adventure to give you an idea of the height - both bikes have the same seat height of 910 mm measured from the ground to the lowest part of the seat where you park your bum.
New sticker kit fitted yesterday.

Wings exhausts
Sidestand enlarger
GBR Racing Clutch and Stator covers
Kamanya's carbon kevlar side covers under the new stickers

There is no service book and owners manual but there are invoices for all work done since 21 000 km / March 2015.
There is a black and orange key.
I have ridden this bike quite a bit in the last few weeks and can confirm that it runs very well and is a very healthy specimen of a 990.
