In the top of dad's backpack.

the zipz gets tied down so they can not open or close from where they are. This stops the box from falling out , but allows air to enter the backpack.

Very cool RR! :thumleft:

A husband and wife on a 1200 GS with FS plates passed me and I heard the GS slow down and turn around. They stopped and introduced themselves a Chris and Hester from Vaalpark near Sasolburg. They stayed with me the whole time while I worked in the rain to remove the flat tube and put the spare tube back in.

Baie nice mense.

Just got to check out the last section of this really AWESOME RR :thumleft: :thumleft:

Thanks once again for taking the time to share this Gr8 trip you went on....with us all.

Amen!  Thank you for inspiring us.  :ricky:

Thank you all for the nice comments and compliments.

Yes . Doing an RR is hard work. But it is surely worth it. It is a good way to debrief after a trip and it gives me something to come back to and relive the trip years down the line.

Nice ride you had. Now to start planning your next one. Most of us that actually ride our bikes recognise the great places you have shown us & thereby promting the planning to do another one.
Last year I did  a ride with the thee of us making Sanie as a point to cross & enjoyed it.
The eye candy pics were great that you took.

Since the end of our last trip the planes are being put together for a round Karoo trip in the middle of winter in July. This will give us a different look at the Karoo & I am sure the temperature will say hallo minus some degree every moring.
The Montague pass is one of my favourits due to a stop at Ann's grave & the with the engine of the bike switched OFF I ride the GSA down the pass like a bicycle. Nice & quite.

I also just missed seeing you at Veldbrands place as we arrived there for a quick stop the following day. He has a very nice B&B goning there with the pub & a great view. I will go back there if I pass that way again.

Goeiewerk Jongman.  :thumleft:
