So it was our "once a year epic" finally and half the group would courier their bikes from joburg to cape town where the epic would start. One mate Greg had to pull out at the last moment due to owning his own business, as almost a couple of others, but thankfully not, but I'm sure you all know how difficult it is for us to go on 10 day rides and still have businesses when we return.
As it fell in September, we planned the route to incorporate The Speedweek at Hakskeen Pan where we would turn and head home.
Day -1 came quicker than we expected and all had to squeeze in the last minute things that we thought we would need to do.
The boys flew in and a quick lunch at Doodles just to set the mood for the next ten days.
We would leave Ct at eight on Saturday the 20 th and headvia railway line to Darling for a brekkie.

Was quite disappointed in Eselbank, you can now do it on a Hardly Ableson, they cemented it  ???

But the rest of the ride into Lutzville was good . Lunched in Clanwiliam and gravel to Klaver and into Lutzville
