I have been to Namibia on many occasions and it is one of my favourite places. Am going again in December and must, for various reasons, keep to the South.
I have been to most of the places / accommodation that you will see recommended on the site, and am looking for some alternative places to stay / see. Lets call it the "people-less" option.
Will be entering at Rietfontein on my way to a few favourite places further North, but not in the mood for the Keetmanshoop / Quiver tree forrest thing.
Is there any other overnight camping / overnight spots on the C16 between Aroab and Keetmans and then on the D609, D417/D421 to Helmeringshausen that is not mainstream and which is quiet?
I have seen a reference to a place called "Op die Koppie" South of Keetmans but have not been able to find it.
Must be the cold making me dreaming about Namibia ;D
Come throw an old dog a few "new" bones :3some:
