Have seen their add on gumtree for a while now - motorcycle jacket with 2 x built-in red LED light strips across the back. Thought it is a brilliant idea, but then I saw one in action in traffic this morning.
Yes, yes, I know some will say the fact that I saw it proves that it works, but I notice every biker coming past whenever I'm driving to work in the cage anyway.
So there I was this morning, 6 o'clock, Cape Town, dark, bumper to bumper traffic & here passes a chap wearing one of these jackets. Man, I'm really disappointed that the light is so dim & relatively weak. Flashing on & off, but lost against the much brighter tail lights of all the cars in front of me.
So IMHO reflective strips are still the way to go...
what do you guys think?
