I wanted to upgrade my spotlight set up from a 10W set to 40w , thought it would work as the housing was only like 5 mm per side bigger , but when fitted to the mounts it looked terrible .
then tried to mount them on the crash bar and the result was the same , just did not look professional , so this upgrade was a bust . And as the saying goes back to the drawing board .
I want to have better light if I get caught on a trip after dark , although one plans not to ride at that time , sometimes its out of ones control and having light is a win situation , the 10W spots work well , though was that the 40s would be the jack pot , but for now the plan is bust .
