I've been using a GPS for a few years now and find them amazing. I never ride without the foretrex when on the Quad and my 76CSX when on the Katoom.
I can use it quite well and pre-planning routes on the PC and downloading to the GPS is highly reccommended.
However:
At school we were taught (what I then believed was the only system) - that of DEGREE's, MINUTES, and SECONDS.
Now I see that there are many others of which minutes and decimals of minutes are used.
There is also the South African Grid ???
What should the standard be??
If I send another Wilddog a route or Send someone my GPS co-ordinates - how do I know that we are all on the same "page"
