So on the way home yesterday from the Pig Bash I hit a deep hole in a concrete drift covered with water. I hit it so hard that my mirrors went out of alignment (see the ground when looking in them)
I could not feel anything else wrong and checked the front wheel and all seem'd good. When I got to Montague I stopped for fuel and put the bike on the center stand, and the steering felt quite stiff like it had a steering damper fitted. I checked what I could and found nothing obvious. Once I put the bike back on the ground again the steering seems fine again. I rode the rest of the way home as normal and could not feel anything wrong. If there is no load on the front wheel the steering gets
stiff, anyone else had this thing happen to them or know where to look for a problem?
