Nee ek sit nie vas nie !
It is the new year and normally my ass is itching for a ride , even though I have just returned from a great holiday , I would normally have ideas for weekend trips , long weekends trip ideas , rides planned for at least 6 month ahead , but right now I am stuck , over thae last 3 odd years we , my riding friend and I have had many great rides , I need to find need destinations but am at a loss . We will again visit some of our favourite places but new is what I am trying to do .
Have a idea to go to MAPUTO for a weekend , but need to wait until the turmoil dies down and things are safe , also need to convince a couple more adventurists to join as there is safety in numbers when going to Maputo by bike , then we do a winter run m normally this would take us to Lesotho , but we have done that and feel it done and dusted for now , will go back , A winter ride is a must , and circumnavigating Lesotho is sort of on the cards , but needs more planning to work out how much distance to cover each day m and find accomdation,
I also have a idea to ride down to Balito , here 2 route options , one for a normal weekend ride , and another route for a long weekend , one via Greytown and the other via Vryheid and Nongoma , info on this route is a bit scarce but that does not scare me .
