o ja, sorry varkneukel, i forgot to reply - it's various spots, out the back of kraaifontein and uitzight - the jump is indeed on the road from okavango to uitzight, the "undeveloped" land... please forgive my rudeness  :-[ :'( :'(

o ja, forgot about that... the ignition was faulty... bmw have ordered a new unit (under warranty) but to get me going until then they opened it up and soldered the offending wire.

It's a hidden dam about 500m from my house. I've been staying in Kraaifontein for almost 2 years and I didn't know it was there. Hahaha.
