This wasn’t the Amageza, but for one rider (Bollie) it might as well have been.   This was to be her first proper off road ride  :ricky:  Myself, NickyD, Bollie, Oom Pad and Sheldon gathered early in George on Sunday for a quiet jaunt to Calitsdorp.

NickyD and Sheldon filling up

Just over the Outeniqua pass we turned onto the Heimersrivier road.  The garden route had seen quite a bit of rain the previous week, so normally dry river crossings were now fun  :ricky:  :ricky:

“ Hey...did you see that....my FIRST river crossing !!! “

Non identical twins  ( or singles in this case  ;D  )

Oom Pad giving some advice on riding through water......

............and Sheldon giving us the demonstration

Little did we know quite how many times we would be crossing water later in the day.....

Nou wil ek net weet hoe die vrou die naam Bollie gekry het. :eek7:
