Just had the most wonderful weekend in Sutherland. Left Friday morning 29th September and back on the Sunday. Quick stop in Ceres for breakfast and then onto Tankwa padstal. First time there for me. Then skirted along the Tankwa national park and up Ouberg pass. Wow what an exhilarating pass, I highly recommend it. We did it two up with luggage and no problems. Went on a morning tour of SALT which was very interesting. We also did an evening star gazing at Sterreland which cost R100.00 and really worthwhile. Sunday was more gravel to Ceres and then home. Bike purred along on the gravel but the Scorpio tyres are very noisy on the tar.
