SW-Motech Top Box Mounting Plate Crack

Noticed today that my SW-Motech top box mounting plate has a hairline crack through it. I have never overloaded the Top Box, so I find this quite strange. Anyone else seen this before ? Where can I get it welded up / get a replacement in Cape Town ?
