Note to self and anybody out there who wants to follow this route: I would not want to ride this route in the opposite direction (from Steytlerville/Willowmore to Patensie) or in the wet. Some crazy people have done it though.

Die hond is altyd daar of soms by die rivier. Die eienaar n boer Fourie woon soos julle gery het links van die pad op die stuk voor die rivier.

That Grootrivier pass section is a blixem!
It was easy on the XT (after falling off once) but deadly for the 1200GS, we had to pull it up there!
