Buff
Grey Hound
My enduro training partner got to know the dirt in a a whole new way this past Sat, as in up close and personal.
We went out training on a mates property and T-Dawg cut the corner on a blind rise and ran out of dirt road. The KDX must have hi-sided him because he landed 25m from where he left the road.
Fortunately the first person on the scene was our other mates girlfriend who just happens to be a doctor so she was able to do a full assessment on him before we moved him.
T-Dawg was lights out (with his eyes wide open) for around 30sec and he still can't remember the trip to the hospital in the bakkie.
Final assessment was a broken humerus (4 places on the right shoulder), one cracked rib and some major bruising and scrapes :-[. Fortunately he was wearing full ATGATT (besides short pants) :thumleft: His helmet (Fox) is cracked down the back as well. The man took a beating of note .
They'll be operating on him either tomorrow or Thursday depending on the swelling in the shoulder.
1. A sorry looking KDX.
2. Munched leg.
3. T-Dawg dirtying the hospital linen. He was covered in clay dust from his head to is toes
4. The Duxie again... the damage was all cosmetic. I stripped off the light kit and now it's ready to go. Man, these bikes are incredibly tough :thumleft:
Heal up well bud, the trail awaits
