I suppose if a 690 was to "big" a KLR650 won't make it ??  ???

The 650 will make it (unless you get caught in the rain....black slick TK mud) but not in any hurry. Short distances in a day and a lot of hard work....worth every drop of sweat :ricky:
 
Would also suggest full knobblies. I had the wrong tyres on the 950 and regretted it big time.

Beautiful ride. Great pics. Pity Spikey had to delay the whole operation again.

Dito, I had a warn Scorp at the back on the 990.

That's a great area to ride, especially if you follow someone that knows the area, and can speak the language.
KLR handles that area quite ok.
 
Hey that's pretty dude looks like an amazing route. can't believe I still have never been there.....
