Tankwa to Carnavon

Hi All, I am planning a 10 day trip in Jan and there is just one part of the journey I would like if any one has any info. We are staying at Tankwa Tented Camp and then heading off to Middelpos and on to Carnavon for the night. What is the condition of the gravel road roads in the area. Last year we traveled to TTC via Uitspanskraal through the Beer River after some rain, not enough to use the pontoon, but enough not to ride through, so much energy was used getting bikes from one side to the next.
