In 2015 I bought myself a Sena 20S and enjoyed it thoroughly. Great quality, great sound, great functions. I used it every day during commuting to listen to my audiobooks, music and radio.
Then now, I decided to invest in another set, and as the Sena is now already at the 50S and 50R, so has the price increased. I had a look at the Cardo and saw that it has JBL speakers which would mean even better sound...
So I ordered a pair from Bike King.
First off - the package wasn't sealed on arrival and missed the instruction booklet, but everything else looked right. As I started to assemble the speakers and microphone inside the helmet, I I began to notice the bulkiness of the connections and the flimsiness of the actual wire.
Got on the bike (1200 GSA - therefore not a lot of wind/engine noise) and at 100 km/h I could hear fookall. I stopped, tried it again, but this time without my earplugs, and this time, I had to duck my head against the dash at 120km/h, just to hear that the bloody thing was on.
What a piece of crap. It seems that you can order bigger speakers, But that is another R3000.
I should just have bought the Sena from the beginning.
