So, my beautiful 3cyl Triumph 1050 is gone 
And with it has gone the trepidation every time I battled to wheel it backwards out of the garage or wobble through the traffic crawl of robots and stop streets.
Also gone, that wickedly seductive surge, and giving an earful of Yoshimuira to those dawdling cage drivers getting in my way at only 160kmh.
In it's place I'll be taking delivery on Tues or Wed of the "old man's scooter" NC750 DCT. And now, the misgivings. Sure, I'll like being able to wheel and paddle it around like a kiddy bike, and it'll be nice, always being in the right gear all the time. But...running out of steam, just as the Triumph was getting into it's stride And how will I live with the "old toppie image"?
