It sounds idyllic, DD.
Winter and a cosy fire with a glass or three of gluwein...

NOW CUT THAT THOUGHT AND FINISH MY GEARBOX !  :mwink:  ;D

Seriously, I wish you a great time and may you find a kindred spirit that will share what is of value to you.  :thumleft:

I understand your story to the point of detail. Same ship happened to me 7 years ago. The missus packed har bags and went looking for greener pastures. Initially this really f....d me up, even spend some time in hospital and talking to lots and lots of "kopdokters" to head me in the right direction.

I also realised that the past is the past for that reason and the future is calling. Being a bit of a recluse I also decided to go into cyberspace in the hope of finding somebody again. Met some very nice woman and lasted for a while until I realised this woman is not for me....not wanting to tell exactly how many.
Then I met a very nice blondie and we started with the coffee, chats and what goes with it. Now she has never been on a bike in her life and my boney scared her a lot. With some convincing she got brave and went with me for a ride. I could hardly breath as she held onto me.

Later on we started going for longer rides and even overnighters. It was if something woke up inside of her and the next thing I know she wants her own bike. Now we are living together and 3 years have passed. She is now the proud owner of a 650 GS twin and is loving it... and I love her for that.

Awesome testimony :thumleft:

Last year close to Levubu she lost the 650 on a bad section of dirt and went flying over the handlebars... The whole incident happened in front of me and I got the fright of my life. Fortunately only concussion and bruises... but she has appreciation for gravel now..
That was the second claim against the insurance in two months....did they just love me.  :pot:

Camping was out of the question for varies reasons but the only one I am prepared to discuss here is the cold. Night time temperatures at this time of year easily drops to below zero and it wont be a good start if your date ends up frozen stiff early in the morning.

The above mentioned is merely details and can give you some idea of what the persons physical attributes will be like. The narratives in which a person have to describe themselves and their ideal partner can tell a lot about them and how serious they are at finding the right person.
If someone writes two sentences about themselves it tell me they are not serious and are merely testing the waters. I lot of profiles sounds like they must have been copied as they are describing a certain stereotype.
When I read Awerts narratives it was clear that she thought about what she wanted to say and were very careful at describing herself and what it is she was looking for in her potential partner. It immediately sparked my interest and I saved her profile as a favorite.

This is what her narratives looked like;

Why should you get to know Awert?

Unless it's Mad, Passionate, Extraordinary love, its a waste of time. There are too many mediocre things in life. LOVE should not be one of them.

I need someone who believes in love, passion and commitment, just like I do....Someone who is not only proud to have me by his side but who will take every risk to keep me in his life.
I don't do half measures and don't need any part-time people in my life. You're either with me, or you're not. I'm an adventurous girl looking for a partner to share my life with
I'm active, love animals - am actively envolved with horses, love the outdoor life, scuba diving, bike riding, dancing, but some nice quiet time at home with a book / movie and a glass of wine is good too.

The couple who plays together, stays together - I want to join you on your adventures and you should join me on mine.

Ek is passievol, romanties, avontuurlustig, doen dinge voluit en is 'n vrou van my woord . . . My vriende sien my as 'n moderne rabbedoe, wat hou van uitdagings.

She describes her ideal match thus:
I would love to find a companion, friend and lover. . .Lets call it a "3-in-one man". An adventurous guy who is serious about life, but also knows how to enjoy it. Someone who can sit with me on a patch of grass, back-to-back, chatting, laughing, drinking wine / beer or whatever. There's so many good uncostly things to enjoy. Non-negotiable - A good sense of humour.

It's hard to say what I prefer because I enjoy different people, with different personalities and qualities.
