Usually when one reads about Van Zyls is a continious sage of afkaaaak etc, now you guys make it sound quite "not-that-bad".
Is this maybe becuase your weapons of choice was the more lighter bikes??

We were chatting about it, and although I have never had a big bike (14 so far, 650 biggest, baddest was a KTM 490 2-smoke) I can imagine it to be afk@k, especially if you drop it.

At the end of the RR I'll post a top 3 of most difficult stretches, suffice to say, Van Zyl did not make the top slot, the surprise came later.

Unfortunately, the heavier the going, the less photo's I took.

Thanks Beserker, I will watch this closely to see who get the No1 spot

I think while everyone is watching the 2010 football. I'll be watching the sun set over Epupa Falls. Thanks for posting and reminding me of that wonderful place. The last time I was there was in 1985 and have bitter/sweet memorys of that visit.

Bring on the next installment.... :thumleft:

Next please.

That is one strange looking XT.  I have a 81 XT that I have retired and plan to restore someday.  Your ride pics have made me "lus" to start today and take it back on the road where it belongs.  Keep on thumping.

It looks like a gogga, but I tell, it did not miss a beat and started everyday on the first/second kick. The only drawback was wacking it through the riversand, the suspension is minimal.  :thumleft:

Bevange, those 2x2l coke bottles next to the headlight looks funny, now if you would replace them with 2 quarts...
