Dare I ask?.On a ride like this do you think you could have enjoyed it more on your 701 versus the 790?

I honestly don’t think so. The 790 ( and 990 for that matter) are extremely capable bikes. Would certain obstacles have been easier on the 701? For sure, but Where’s the fun in that? [emoji12] The big KTM twins are just such a thrill to ride!

We spent two consecutive full days of riding these beasts on mostly technical terrain. They are comfortable to be on can happily ride along on single track at low revs and pack plenty of punch when you need it.

I’m thankful for the time I spent on smaller bikes. It improved my riding no end and gave me the confidence to do things on a bigger bike I never thought possible....... and my riding is still improving (LOTS of room for that  :3some because of riding with and watching guys like [member=4453]Just Blip It![/member]  , [member=14604]JesseH[/member] , [member=14709]chopper pilot[/member]  etc who have amazing skills on the big bikes.

I’ve made peace with the fact that my 790 will take some punishment in the process, but I’ve never enjoyed and used a bike quite like this one.......
