Tips and advice wanted: West Coast trip

We are a few guys that are planning a ride to the West Coast.

Any advice on routes to take, places to see and even accommodation will be appreciated.

We are from Bloemfontein and the thinking is to travel via Upington to Port Nolloth and then southwards and to complete a circle coming back home.
