I am hoping someone here has actually attempted this, with success, and will be able to give me some advice
My 2006 3.0d4d Diff Lock stopped working a few years ago after some babelas plonker drove into the back of me destroying his VW Fox
The Hilux had a crushed rear bumper and small dent on the body behind the Bumper.
After this happened I realised that my diff lock no longer engages, its not often that it gets used

But I founds this video, where this guy rebuilds his Tacoma Actuator

Seems like a straight forward job and I want to give mine a go and see if I can breathe life back into it.
His diff and Diff lock look the same as mine
So first I popped in at Toyota to see if I can get new seals etc.
"No Sir, we dont fix those things, we replace"
"Of course you guys do"
SO they dont sell parts for it, but a new one I can get from them, R13000 ex VAT, thats exactly why I do not want to replace.
SO has anyone attempted a rebuild of one of these? Where did you get parts?
Long shot here but I know there are many hands on guys around here
