I bought a 2nd hand pair of GIVI (E45) panniers for my TA. Does anyone have the instructions of how to assemble the pannier brackets on the TA?
I struggle to see where exactly the mounting point goes that attaches to the rear foot pegs. It is too thick to go inside the metal U-frame (together with the footpeg), so I guess it must go above or below the U-frame. But then the bolt with the split-pin (that secures the footpeg) is too short.
Do I need a new longer bolt (from GIVI) that can take the footpeg and the pannier bracket mounting point ?
By looking at the alignment, it seems to need to go inside the U-frame ???
Any pointers ???
