I am preparing my trusty Honda CRF230F for a May coastal Transkei plastic bike trip.
The current Mitas C17 front and C20 rear Stoneking tyres are a hard compound for rocks and might not do the trick on mud and slippery water crossings.
What tyres are recommended and locally available for these conditions? The ride leader recommends a medium compound.
