trying to load maps to internal memory

Ok, so I found a dvd with the maps on it, now I ned to load it to the internal memory of my zumo 500. I need to do this so that I can use the SD slot for a blank card with music on it.
I tried to go through the normal process, but t says I have to pay R 228 to unlock the maps. Help please
