Howzit,
We're doing some early research on the bike market in South Africa as we are now 7 short months away from having to decide whether we ship our pair of DR650s to SA from Buenos Aires, or just sell them in Argentina and buy something else once we arrive. Price and availability of bikes in South Africa will help us make this decision. Since I have been living outside of SA for a few years now, I'm not up to speed with the local bike market so please can you help me out.
- Where is the best place to hunt for used bikes?
- What bikes are available locally - in the dualsport category?
- What are the price ranges?
It would be most helpful if we could assess the replacement cost for a 2004 DR650 and a 1998 DR650.
