Using Basecamp waypoints

Hi all, I'm plotting my first trip on Basecamp and I have a question...

I'm plotting a 2 day route in the Cederberg...On day 2, I plan to join the route that I used on Day 1 and head back down to Cape Town. Is there a way to tell Basecamp to use the waypoints from Day 1 for my return journey on day 2?

If not it seems that I would have to create waypoints all the way back down that route for the return journey.
