Good morning gentlemen and gentlewomen or whatever you are identifying as today
I please require assistance with my 2004 950 adventure S. The bike has recently started using coolant. To put it into perspective the bike will drop from the max line in the reserve tank to below the minimum line after a 100km trip when the bike has cooled down- so more than is acceptable or normal.
Since I have little to no mechanical skill or knowledge the bike has been into the mechanic and he has observed or ruled the following out:
There is no leaking of fluid anyware that we can find, he has pressure tested the radiator, replaced the cap and the engine oil is not milky.
Any other diagnostics or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
