Hi Folks. Was at Outdoor Warehouse the other day and bought one of those red 5l jerry cans to carry water in. I know they coat them inside with some special stuff and was just wondering if it okay to put drinking water in them. The bigger 20l water containers are painted blue - not sure if that is for identification purposes only or if they have a different coating. I have Googled this but just ended up with a whole lot of opinions - no one really seems to know.
