I had a look at the helmet cam at full throt today.It is a Oregon atc2k action cam and this is the webpage

I bought the atc5k (oregon scientific) from Full Throttle in Randburg two weeks ago. It's more than twice the price of the atc2k, but is worth it IMO. It costs R3000 as opposed to the R1200 for the atc2k - but has an lcd monitor, is Vista compatible, is also a webcam and has a wider field of view. Worth the extra bucks.

Just a warning - don't expect phenomenal video and audio quality. This cam is water resistant (to three metres) and fairly rugged - so it sacrifices vid and audio quality.

I've discovered 3 attractive options, with quality seemingly relative to price:

Elmo	R 8000	Available from Bikegear.co.za. [BR]If I had 8k lying around, this would be the logical choice.
VholdR	R 4000	Available from Bikegear.co.za
ActionCam	R 1200[BR]  - R3000	Available from Full Throttle etc.
