Took the Varadero in to Helderberg Honda this morning to get two things... have a look at the front brake disks and get an opinion on the condition of the rest of the bike. Being a novice rider, I would like some confirmation that everything is as it should be.

The bike is fine, but the brake disks need attention... as previously suspected.
New Honda disks are R4800 and not easily available.
Question to the boffins... are there any other options... like in getting the disks skimmed or grinded back into shape... aftermarket parts from other suppliers that will do the job. I have checked out Bike Gear and Touratech and it does not seem as if they stock these.
Also... Are there left and right units.. are they different??
