I would like to remove some surface rust inside my tank, after tank gad a re-spray. There were also no serious issues before the spray, but now the tank looks a bit crappy on the inside, since it was empty for too long I guess.
Iv done the research and Its best to start with something like vinegar before one resorts to heavy chemicals.
What I cant figure out anywhere, is:
What ratio of vinegar and water should I use?
A 50/50 mix, or a different ratio, or perhaps only white vinegar?
How much is recommended into a 17L tank. Half full or just 5L vinegar?
I believe the vinegar would need a day or 3 to work well, with the occasional shake of the tank also.
Thanx in advance.
