Two British friends want to come ride through South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Would it be better for them to ship their bikes here, do the ride and ship them back or would it be better to rent bikes over here? Does anybody know what it entails to ship a bike over here from the UK and ship it back again after a holiday? Is there a lot of red tape involved? Alternatively, where would they be able to rent bikes locally (both of them ride 1200 GS's)? Any idea regarding the cost involved?
