I have a friend that just bought a second hand V strom 1000 2005 model.
It suffers from clutch basket chudder. (chatter and shudder) Worst at about 3500RPM.
I have read up on this, and it seems it is a factory fault with the clutch basket, with Suzuki not interested in re engineering. They will sell you a new basket, which will be fine for about 3000 to 5000kms. :deal:
I see on Stromtroopers, that there are quite a few mods being tried out.
Anybody in RSA got a few ideas or solutions to fix this a bit more permanently?
