This will be my first bike ever(So I'm literally going to learn how to ride it by riding it
) and will be used initially only for commuting very short distances to work and later twice monthly to the Free-State to visit the better half.
Thus I'd prefer something that hasn't been ridden to within an inch of it's life.
Once I get my bike legs, I'll definitely be taking the tractor down south for my first trip. I hear they have this flat mountain with a big swimming pool next to it in CPT.
Any and all advice for my first buy would be greatly appreciated. I'm also shopping for some starter kit (i.e cheap but functional). Helmet, jacket and gloves. So if anyone has a recommendation that would be grand.
PS: I'm not sure if all this falls under the context of this board. So mods are free to move it or edit it.
